The global WPC market in 2026 is estimated between USD 9.67 billion and 11.33 billion. North America and Europe remain the highest-margin core markets, while Asia-Pacific drives volume. 1. "Looks like wood" is no longer enough
Buyers want a specific species, in multiple tones. Deep embossing, matte finishes, oak / teak / cedar multi-tone mixing, and color-matched corners and trims are now standard. Buyers are increasingly specifying by "façade system" rather than single SKU — decking, wall cladding, railings, and fencing in one coordinated palette.
2. Co-extrusion has become the performance threshold
ASA / PE cap layers solve UV, stain, and scratch resistance. Standard mono-extrusion struggles in coastal, Middle East, and Nordic specifications. The TCO advantage of co-extruded profiles is now modeled into 15–25 year warranty calculations.
3. Safety parameters are written directly into the spec
Pool decks, hotel terraces, and public walkways reference EN 16165 slip ratings, concealed fasteners, and narrow-gap drainage. Professional buyers request "support span — deflection — load" tables rather than just judging a sample.
4. The documentation pack is the entry ticket
CE (with EN 15534 reports, not self-declaration), ASTM D7032, ISO 9001, REACH, FSC / recycled-content declarations, and SGS / Intertek reports are shortlist filters. A logo without the report is skipped in 2026.

- Don't apply "lowest-price logic" to overseas projects. Cheap boards often cut UV additives and material sorting — fading within 2–3 years, where replacement cost dwarfs the initial saving.
- Match the formula to the climate zone. Southeast Asia: anti-mold, anti-termite. Middle East: UV. Northern Europe: low-temperature impact. Coastal: salt spray. Choose a factory with regional weathering / freeze-thaw reports.
- Ask for documents before asking for a quote. Before the PI, request EN 15534 or ASTM D7032 originals (same profile, last 3 years), fire rating (Euroclass / ASTM E84), and structural support calculation. Only when documents are complete does price comparison begin.
